Using a community-centered and resident-led approach, she facilitates game-changing collaborations that enable residents—particularly those historically impacted by racial and economic inequities—to thrive.
Since the launch of GreenLight Fund Twin Cities in 2020 amid the dual crises of the COVID-19 pandemic and social unrest, Simone has stewarded over $5.4 million in funding from a coalition of more than 50 investors to bring proven, innovative solutions to the region. Her ability to drive innovation and build partnerships is evident in the four transformational programs GreenLight has launched under her leadership.
